What Our Clients Say About Us and Our Work
EXCELLENT Based on 199 reviews Posted on Rene LTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is the second time David S. has done my system maintenance and he's awesome! Takes his time to explain things to me and does a great job on checking the system out. Thanks David! We have the 2 year maintenance plan and already paid for the service.Posted on S MTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. For many years, I have used Temco to service and maintain my hvac. All the reps are professional and customer service focused. A few weeks ago, as it started to get uncomfortably hot, my cooling system failed. Long story short, best option was to replace the unit, and time was of the essence due to the heat. The Temco staff worked “miracles” for me on pricing and scheduling. My new hvac was installed in two days by a company I know will provide good service. The installers handled the new hvac unit “like a baby” in guiding it off the truck and wenching it up into position on the roof. Before they left, they made sure all was working well inside the house. I love the new system! It is very quiet and comfortable…so quite that I’ve actually gone to look at the thermostat to make sure it is working!Posted on Diane CTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had an estimate for a new evaporative cooler. Duncan was friendly knowledgeable. Gave us a reasonable estimate.Posted on Kenneth LTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Equipment installation went smoothly. Old equipment was removed and new equipment was installed in a reasonable time. The new thermostat was not what the installers expected so a substitute was temporarily installed. The "correct" thermostat is on order.Posted on Linda RTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Daniel did a great job very thero job..nice person friendly...Posted on Betty STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our Nest thermostat indicated a fried wire in our HVAC system. We are selling our house and needed a repair made before an open house the next day. Temco shuffled their work orders to make sure that our issue was resolved quickly. We are very grateful for their timely service. Aaron, the technician, was terrific and got the problem diagnosed and solved quickly.Posted on Judith TTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Did a good persistant job of figuring out why my aircon wasn’t working properly and go it fixed.Posted on Janis TTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Professional as always yet extremely nice. Issue-will be solved as parts are available.

How do I know if I should repair or replace my heating and cooling system?
Most home heating and cooling systems last between 10-15 years before they start losing efficiency and breaking down more often. Our technicians can conduct a thorough inspection of your unit to determine its age, condition, safety, performance, and efficiency. We will help you determine if it would be safer and more cost-effective to replace your unit rather than repairing it. If your unit is over 10 years old and needs frequent repairs, it may be time for an upgrade. If the cost of your repairs is close to or more than half of the cost of a new unit, investing in a new unit is your best choice. We will recommend replacement, if your system has not been properly maintained, is outdated or inefficient, or is unsafe to operate. If your energy bills have been steadily increasing, the size of your household has increased, or you have added on to your home, we may recommend a larger or more efficient unit.
What is a diagnostic fee and what does it cover?
When your heating or air conditioning system is struggling or is just not operating properly, we will send out a service technician to “troubleshoot” the problem. In order to cover the cost of the troubleshooting, a diagnostic fee applies. Once properly diagnosed, we will then be able to provide you with an accurate quote for any repairs needed.
How can I increase the efficiency and lifespan of my heating and cooling system?
You can prolong the lifespan of your heating and cooling system and improve its efficiency and performance by:
- Prioritizing preventive maintenance and routine inspections
- Changing your air filters every month or according to manufacturer specifications
- Cleaning your air vents and ducts regularly
- Keeping your outdoor unit clean and free from debris or obstructions
- Clearing drain lines to prevent damage or freezing
- Sealing air leaks, cracks, or gaps in your home
- Installing a programmable or smart thermostat
- Keeping doors and windows closed
- Using fans to improve airflow
How often should I replace my air filters?
You should replace your air filters according to the manufacturer’s instructions or the guidelines on the filters themselves. Some filters are designed to last longer than others. In most cases, you should replace your filters every 30-90 days. If you have pets, you should replace them every month.
